Marched on foot
Crowded borders
Headed to their root

Banged plates
To cite the deed
Lit diyas
To trial by fire and creed

Communal confined at home
Fearless came for help
Nincompoop
Defaced the only help

Alien pandemic
Mirrored conduct error
animals having fun
humans living in terror

Technology seemed boon in adversity
Yet lockdown is no delight
Cheers to ‘ache din’
Lifeless day and caged night
